New Foo Fighters Album "Almost Halfway Done"

The new Foo Fighters album is "almost halfway done", according to producer Butch Vig.

Vig, who produced Nirvana’s 'Nevermind', told Kerrang! Magazine that "the band have been recording at some different locations and it's going well.

"It sounds different – we've thrown a few things into the mix, in the recording process, that are going to give the record a different sound”

Dave Grohl and Pat Smear recently took time out of recording the new Foo Fighters album to perform at Nirvana's Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction.
