New Dylan Charity Compilation On The Way
Artists pay tribute to Bob Dylan for Amnesty International album
Rolling Stone (via Yahoo) reports that Chimes of Freedom: Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International is scheduled for release on 21 November and all proceeds will go to the human rights charity.
Slated to appear on the album are artists such as Dave Matthews Band, Sting, My Morning Jacket (with You're A Big Girl Now), Adele (To Make You Feel My Love), Patti Smith (Drifter's Escape), Rise Against (Ballad of Hollis Brown), Bad Religion, Lucinda Williams (Tryin' to Get to Heaven), and recent Alice Cooper collaborator Ke$ha. The Tik Tok singer will apparently tackle Don't Think Twice, It's Alright for the compilation.
