New Dylan Bootleg Collection On The Way

Volume nine of the rarities series is apparently due in October

Bob Dylan is to continue his recent run of at least one album per year with a brand new Bootleg Series album in October.

Rolling Stone reports that The Bootleg Series Vol. 9 will be released in October and features a set of songs recorded in 1962 – 64. The songs were previously known to collectors and aficionados as the Witmark Demos and Leeds Demos (after the studios where they were recorded).

According to Rolling Stone Dylan will also be reissuing his first eight albums later this year as remastered Mono editions (the Mono versions have never been available on CD) which aim to recreate the sound of the records on vinyl. The albums will feature new liner notes and will be packaged in paper sleeves.
