New Dates Added to Thin Lizzy Tour
Band add more dates to European Tour but warn that it will be their last
Thin Lizzy have added new dates in Glasgow, Leeds and London to their current European Tour, but warn fans that they will not be releasing a new album under the name Thin Lizzy.Â
Scott Gorham stated that this was "out of respect to Phil Lynott and the legacy he created" adding that "it was a very difficult decision as we put a lot of time and effort into re-building the Thin Lizzy brand over recent years" and that future plans would be announced early in the new year.Â
Current lead vocalist Ricky Warwick emphasised that singing the songs of Phil Lynott for the past two years had been "an honour" but that the band would cease touring at the close of 2012.
"From all the band and associated personnel, we thank every one of our fans & supporters for making these past two years so incredible and we look forward to seeing you all on the Nov/Dec Tour" said Warwick.
New dates which have been added to the upcoming tour are:
Dec 15Glasgow, ABC
Dec 16Leeds, O2 Academy
Dec 17London, Shepherds Bush Empire
