Netherhall win Planet Rock's talent search to play the Sophie Lancaster Stage at Bloodstock

Birmingham alternative metallers Netherhall have won Planet Rock’s talent search to play the Sophie Lancaster Stage at Bloodstock 2021.
At the start of June, Planet Rock joined forces with Bloodstock to launch a competition looking for a rock or metal act to perform at Catton Park this August.
Over 500 bands submitted songs, and, following intensive judging process, Netherall have been crowned winners this morning (20th July).
They will have the prestigious honour of opening the Sophie Lancaster Stage on Saturday 14th August 2021 - the same day Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons headline the stage.
Netherhall said in a statement: “We are thrilled & honoured to of been asked to perform at Bloodstock Festival, opening the legendary Sophie Lancaster Stage on Saturday. It is an honour to of been chosen by judges from Planet Rock and Bloodstock Festival.
“Our appreciation for this opportunity is endless. We'll be performing new material from our forthcoming debut album and we can't wait to for our first show in 18 months.”

Bloodstock has also announced today that all weekend tickets are now completely sold out. Only limited day tickets remain from Planet Rock Tickets.
Taking place from Wednesday 11th to Sunday 15th August 2021, Bloodstock 2021’s main stage headliners are Devin Townsend (Friday), Kreator (Saturday) and Judas Priest (Sunday).
The rock and metal extravaganza also features sets from Skindred, Paradise Lost, Diamond Head, Therapy?, Venom Prison, Jinjer, Vio-Lence, Saxon, The Wildhearts, Gloryhammer, Bleed From Within, Napalm Death, Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons, Memoriam, Ramage Inc., Green Lung, Conjurer, Orange Goblin, Raging Speedhorn, Lawnmower Deth, Conan, Sylosis, Winterfylleth, Hacktivist, The Crawling, Evil Scarecrow, Acid Reign, Svalbard, Borstal, Seidrblot, Mother Vulture, Bloodshot Dawn, Evile and many more.
