Neil Young Plots US Solo Tour
His Twisted Road solo Tour looks set to stretch into 2011
Young has announced a 10-city tour of the US in the Spring which will see him carry on with his critically lauded Twisted Road tour, which he started last summer.
The tour sees Young touring entirely solo, playing his recent Le Noise album alongside classics such as 'Ohio,' 'Down By The River,' 'Cinnamon Girl' and 'Helpless'. He performs much of the set on an electric guitar, occasionally reaching for an acoustic guitar, piano and organ.
His tour finishes just in time for Buffalo Springfield to reunite at the Bonnaroo festival, and Springfield singer/guitarist Richie Furay wrote on his official blog that a full tour is slated for September. "There is no word yet on a rehearsal or tour schedule so there is still a chance that things could fail to materialize," he wrote. "But this time around there seems to be larger forces at work driving things forward and only the Lord knows for what ultimate purpose."
