Neal Morse Enlists Prog Friends For Christmas LP
Hackett, Portnoy, Trewavas all appear on A Proggy Christmas
Morse is to release the album under the banner of the Prog World Orchestra and the album includes prog versions of traditional Christmas standards such as 'Silent Night' and 'Joy To The World'.
Amongst the names on the record, according to Prog Magazine, are Mike Portnoy, Steve Hackett, Roine Stolt, Steve Morse, Pete Trewavas and many more.
The album is released on 6 November and Radiant Records say: "This is the ultimate Christmas prog album, geared towards the major prog fan. Complete with shreddy guitars as well as soothing fretless bass, vocals on occasion by the illustrious Mr Morse, and everything in between this is an album the true fan will enjoy for years to come."
