Muse Considering Film Soundtrack
Band may provide the music for new blockbuster
Muse have been offered the chance to record the music for the forthcoming Clash Of The Titans remake.
Speaking to the Daily Star, frontman Matt Bellamy revealed that the band had been asked to write the score for the blockbuster, which is released this March.
"It’s something we’re up for doing – it’s just a case of timing because we’re always on tour. Clash Of The Titans is the first interesting offer we’ve had for film work.
"We’re definitely interested in writing for films at some point when we get a break from being on the road,” he told the Daily Star.
Gigwise reports that in a separate interview with the National Post Bellamy revealed that the music would bear little similarity to the band’s normal work.
"It'll be really sort of mental music for a film like that. Totally different to Muse,” he explained.
