Six more bands have been announced for Download Festival 2016, with two bands joining the main stage bills for Friday 10th, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th June respectively.

Performing on the Friday night, and fresh from the release of their new album "Bad Magic", the legendary Motörhead will look to put Lemmy's recent health issues behind them and play a rock 'n' roll show in the way that only they can. Following them on the main stage will be nu-metal icons KoRn, who will soon release their 12th studio album and return to Donington for the first time since 2013.

Meanwhile, Megadeth will follow the forthcoming release of their 15th studio LP "Dystopia" (due on January 22nd) with a main stage performance on the Saturday night. Following them will be Sacramento quintet Deftones, who are just completing work on their eighth studio album and will also headline the SSE Arena Wembley later this month.

Finally, Download's Sunday line-up sees the addition of Disturbed, who recently returned from a hiatus to release their new album "Immortalized", as well as Symphonic metallers Nightwish.

They'll all join previously announced headliners Rammstein, Black Sabbath, and Iron Maiden for the biggest event in the rock calendar at Donington Park next June. Tickets are on sale RIGHT NOW via Planet Rock Tickets!
