Taking place at Hollywood’s Avalon Theater on Tuesday 3rd April, the night is called AC/DC Comedy & Rock Show: A Tribute To Bon Scott and, alongside a string of stand-up comics, there’s an all-star band who will perform AC/DC’s seminal album ‘Powerage’ in its entirety.

The band boasts Nikki Sixx (Mötley Crüe), Scott Ian (Anthrax), Scott Gorham (Thin Lizzy, Black Star Riders), Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy Osbourne, Quiet Riot), Jesse Hughes (Eagles Of Death Metal), Dave Kushner (Velvet Revolver) and more.

AC/DC aficionado Scott Ian says: "I’m going to do my best to honour Malcolm’s mastery. And I’m going to bang my f***ing head playing songs from my favourite AC/DC record."

The event is being run by comedian, actor and biker Dean Delray, who shared the promotional poster on social media last night:

Of course, the AC/DC Comedy & Rock Show: A Tribute To Bon Scott isn’t the only homage to Bon Scott taking place this year.

Returning once again, Bonfest 2018 takes place in Bon’s birthplace of Kirriemuir in Scotland from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th May 2018 with performances from Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons, The Chris Slade Time Line, tribute band Bon with Mark Evans, Massive Wagons and more.
