More Joplin Rarities Unearthed
A new Big Brother And The Holding Company live album to be released
Music-News.com reports that Columbia will release a recording of Big Brother And The Holding Company from the Carousel Ballroom in 1968 next week.
The album was recorded by legendary soundman Owsley 'Bear' Stanley.
The release comes ahead of the previously announced The Pearl Sessions, which is due in April.
The Pearl Sessions contains rare, unreleased, and alternate versions from the sessions of her iconic Pearl album and it's out on 16 April.
