Mollie Marriott to support Dan Patlansky on UK tour
Dan Patlansky has confirmed that Mollie Marriott is joining him as a very special guest on his UK tour.
Having released her acclaimed debut album ‘Truth Is A Wolf’, toured with Bad Touch and wowed Planet Rockstock at the tail end of 2017, blues singer Mollie Marriott will open for Dan Patlansky at all dates on his March 2018 jaunt.
Tickets to the shows in Manchester, Newcastle, Leek, Bristol, Sheffield and London are on sale from Planet Rock Tickets now.
Dan Patlansky’s new studio album ‘Perfection Kills’ is released on CD, 180-gram vinyl, mastered for iTunes digital and standard digital download formats on Friday 2nd February 2018.
The follow-up to 2016’s critically lauded ‘Introvertigo’ was recorded at Scherzo Productions, a recording studio in Dan’s home town of Pretoria, South Africa.
“Perfection Kills is all about my vision of making a record that still make the song writing a priority as in the past, the final product delivers a far more real and organic result,” says Dan.
Reflecting upon how he has evolved musically, Dan added: “To me it feels like a band playing live in the studio which isn’t far from the truth.
“As mentioned the songs are still the priority and always will be, but on this album they come across far closer to the way they will sound live.
“This is the album I’ve wanted to make for a few years now. So all I wanted to do was get the sound and production in my head across to the listeners in a raw and charmingly rough way.”
