Mike Portnoy Announces Beatles Tribute Album

Portnoy's first post-Dream Theater recording project is a huge live Beatles tribute album entitled Yellow Matter Custard - One More Night In New York City. It was recorded in February at the B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York.

The band consists of Mr Big guitarist Paul Gilbert, former Spock's Beard guitarist/keyboard player Neal Morse and Utopia bassist Kasim Sulton.
