Mike Myers re-enacts 'we’re not worthy!' Wayne’s World scene at Alice Cooper gig

Actor Mike Myers came on stage during Alice Cooper’s recent New York City show to re-enact the legendary ‘we’re not worthy!’ scene from Wayne’s World.

The shock rock torchbearer and Planet Rock DJ was performing his set closer ‘School’s Out’ at the 3,000 capacity Beacon Theatre on Thursday (6th September) when Myers, who had been standing by the side of the stage for the whole gig, walked on.

Wearing a black T-shirt and cap similar to the trademark attire of his character Wayne Campell, in homage to the iconic scene he did with Dana Carvey in the 1992 movie Myers proceeded to bow continuously to our Alice for a minute.

In the 1992 movie, Wayne Campbell and Dana Carvey’s character Garth Algar blag backstage passes to Alice’s Hey Stoopid tour.

After Alice and his band divulge potent nuggets of information about the history of Milwaukee, Wayne and Garth collapse to their knees and fan Alice with adulation and chants of “we’re not worthy.”
