Mick Jagger shows off his dance moves six weeks after heart surgery
Six weeks after undergoing heart surgery, The Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger has shared a video of himself nimbly dancing in the studio.
At the end of March, The Rolling Stones postponed the entire North American leg of their No Filter Tour as 75-year-old Mick needed medical treatment.
The following week Mick underwent heart valve replacement surgery and later took to social media to confirm he was on the road to recovery, writing: “Thank you everyone for all your messages of support. I’m feeling much better now and on the mend – and also a huge thank you to all the hospital staff for doing a superb job.”
Now, just a month-and-a-half on from the operation, Sir Mick took to Instagram and Twitter this afternoon (15th May) to share a 22-second clip of himself busting some impressive dance moves in the studio.

The 17-date North American leg of the No Filter tour was due to kick off at Miami Gardens Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday 20th April and wrap up at Burl's Creek Event Grounds in Barrie, Canada on Saturday 29th June. The rescheduled dates are yet to be announced.
The No Filter Tour started in Hamburg, Germany in September 2017 and took in eight UK stadium shows last May and June including three nights in London.
Currently working on their first studio album of new material since 2005’s ‘A Bigger Bang’, The Rolling Stones released the new compilation ‘Honk’ on Friday 19th April 2019 featuring 36 hits and classic cuts from every studio album from 1971’s ‘Sticky Fingers’ through to 2016 covers album ‘Blue & Lonesome’.
