Mick Jagger & Charlie Watts In Skit About Monty Python
The stones frontman jokes about the comedians being 'wrinkly old men'.
Mick Jagger and Charlier Watts of The Rolling Stones poked fun at the stars of Monty Python (and indeed themselves) in a video skit shown at a press conference yesterday for Monty Python Live (mostly).
The video shows Jagger being told about the veteran comedians' comeback live shows by an assistant, to which he replies "Who wants to see that again? It was funny in the Sixties.”
He also goes on to describe Eric Idle, Michael Palin, John Cleese, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam as "...wrinkly old men trying to relive their youth and make a load of money. I mean, the best one died years ago!”

At the press conference, launching the Pythons' run of live dates at London's O2, John Cleese said: "The opening number is quite energetic. We leap around and it sets the standard. I’m quite worn out after the first number. We’ve got Jagger as an example and we can still move fast around the stage."
