Michael Schenker Group reschedule UK shows for autumn 2021
The 50th Anniversary – IMMORTAL Tour
Last updated 27th Nov 2020
Michael Schenker Group are the latest band who have been forced to reschedule their UK tour for a second time.
Originally due to take place in April 2020, the headline shows in Leeds, Newcastle, Wolverhampton and London were pushed back to December 2020 earlier this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Redubbed the 50th Anniversary – IMMORTAL tour, the quartet of concerts have now been moved back a further 10 months and will take place in the last week of October 2021. Special guest will be Doro and all original tickets remain valid.
The concerts support Michael Schenker Group’s new album ‘IMMORTAL’, which lands in January 2021 and celebrates Schenker’s 50th anniversary as a musician.
‘IMMORTAL’ features a number of guest musicians including ex-Rainbow frontman Joe Lynn Turner, current Rainbow singer Ronnie Romero, and Sons Of Apollo/Black Country Communion keyboardist Derek Sherinian.
Commenting on the October 2021 shows, Michael Schenker says: “A new show with my great new MSG line-up celebrating my 50th Anniversary of recording and the new album – IMMORTAL. I'm excited.
“Can't wait to play it live for all you Rock n’ Roll fans out there. Don't miss the shows – we’re well overdue to be live and together again.”
