Michael Schenker Fest sign record deal and announce album for spring 2018
Michael Schenker is releasing an album with original MSG singers Gary Barden, Graham Bonnet & Robin McAuley and Michael Schenker’s Temple of Rock vocalist Doogie White.
The collective played rapturously received Michael Schenker Fest shows in Sweden and Japan in 2016 and have lined up four UK shows for this November taking in London, Sheffield, Manchester and Hull.
Now, in a Facebook post, the German guitar wizard has confirmed they’ve penned a global deal with Nuclear Blast Records and will be releasing an album under the Michael Schenker Fest moniker in spring 2018.
Currently in its embryonic stages, the album will be recorded with producer Michael Voss.
"I am very happy to have signed with Nuclear Blast Records and I am looking forward to releasing a killer Michael Schenker Fest studio album in the spring of 2018,” says Michael.
“The album will bring together past and present in the form of 3 original M.S.G. singers - Gary Barden, Graham Bonnet & Robin McAuley - and the current Michael Schenker's Temple of Rock vocalist Doogie White (ex-Rainbow). Keep on rockin'!"
