Metallica, Springsteen Announce Record Store Day Releases
Rory, Deep Purple, Bowie also amongst limited edition releases
This year's Record Store Day takes place on 21 April and the bulk of the exclusive limited edition releases have now been announced.
Amongst the picks of the bunch are the 12" vinyl edition of Metallica's Death Magnetic EP, a previously unreleased Bruce Springsteen 7" single version of Rocky Ground b/w The Promise (Live) and a 7" picture disc edition of the Sex Pistols' Anarchy In The UK.
Elsewhere, there's a Rory Gallagher numbered 10" vinyl edition of Stompin' Ground, a 7" single edition of Deep Purple's Smoke On The Water and a double 10" EP set from Pete Townshend called The Quadrophenia Demos, featuring a selection of the demo recordings that featured on last year's Quadrophenia reissue.
