"Through the Never" will be played in IMAX cinemas across North America for 1 week only starting September 27th. The full release of the movie has been pushed back from August 9th to October 4th.

The film combines live footage of the band, which was filmed over three nights in Vancouver, along with a narrative storyline. The plot follows a fictional member of their crew, played by actor Dane DeHaan, who is sent on a special mission during the concert.

The live shows featured dazzling pyrotechnic displays, a dozen floating coffins and "planned malfunctions". Tickets for the third and final performance were sold for just $5, with all proceeds going to the Vancouver Food Bank.
