Metallica, Lemmy, Dio Win Golden Gods

Metallica, Ronnie James Dio, Lemmy and Rob Halford were given awards at this year’s Revolver Golden Gods.

Ronnie James Dio was handed the Best Vocalist Award, while Judas Priest’s Rob Halford was given the Golden God Award and Metallica were given the Best Live Band Award.

And Lemmy was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented to him by Dave Grohl. The Motorhead frontman then took to the stage to perform a version of ‘Ace Of Spades’ along with Grohl and Slash (check out the video below).

Drum Workshop Best Drummer Award: Jimmy "The Rev” Sullivan of Avenged Sevenfold, accepted by his family
Splatterhouse Lifetime Achievement Award: Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead
BallHype Most Metal Athlete Award: Marc Colombo, Leonard Davis, and Corey Procter of the Dallas Cowboys and the band Free Reign
Harley-Davidson Album of the Year Award: Alice in Chains
