Metallica Guitarist Kicks Child In Face

Metallica’s Kirk Hammett was involved in a particularly unfortunate incident in Sydney when he accidentally hit a child in the face with a large beach ball.

Blabbermouth picked up the incident, which occurred at the 11 November concert at the Acer Arena in Sydney and there are a couple of fan filmed videos of the accident.

Kirk can be seen kicking the now traditional Metallica beach balls offstage when a child – believed to be the daughter of the stage manager – is struck fairly powerfully by a ball in the face, throwing her backwards into the guitar tech area side of stage.

She was reportedly unhurt in the incident.

Some people have now renamed the Metallica guitarist Kick Hammett.
