Metallica Announce 30th Anniversary Shows
The band will take over the Fillmore in San Fran in December
Hardcore Metallica fans are set for a real treat this winter after the band announced a series of 30th anniversary concerts in their hometown. The official Metallica website states that the 4 piece plan to take over the Fillmore venue in San Francisco for a whole week, to pay tribute to their most dedicated fans.
The shows take place on 5, 7, 9 and 10 December and they're exclusive to Metallica club members only.
The shows are expected to include rare material, special guests and varied set-lists. Tickets are available in a "4 pack" for $19.81 (see what they did there), as well as single show tickets for a pretty reasonable $6.00. 4pack tickets are also valid for various contests held during the week.
Club members can get hold of tickets via the official Metallica website using a reservation system, which will open from 8 August.
