The singer says that he\'ll go out doing what he loves

Speaking on the Piers Morgan show on CNN in the US, Meat was talking about his recent rumoured health problems that have seen him apparently collapse at two shows.

"You know, I take the stage as if it's the last thing I'm ever going to do and that's how I perform every night... it’s probably taught me to slow down a little bit.

"I go out on the stage as if it’s the last thing I’ll ever do. And that’s what I’ve always said - if I'm going out, I'm going out on stage."

Although he denies there being a serious problem at the moment, Meat Loaf's asthma caused him to collapse onstage in Pittsburgh last month followed a week later by a rumoured collapse backstage at a show in New Jersey.

Meat Loaf will release a brand new studio album, entitled Hell In A Handbasket, later this year followed by a Christmas album.
