Meat Loaf Hits Back At Aussie Critics

Following a less than impressive performance in Australia, Meat turns on the event organisers

Classic Rock Magazine reports that following Meat's performance during the Australian Football League's Grand Final he was roundly criticised for fans for being off key and clearly struggling with his sound.

Meat has now turned the blame towards the organisers for providing almost no time for a sound check, having no live piano and using a back line that hardly worked.

"I'm sorry, they're jerks. I do not like them," said Meat in And I'll tell you what, anybody that I hear announces that they're going to play for them I'm going to write that particular artist a letter and tell them not to. And I hope the AFL hears this and I want this everywhere. Because I will go out of my way to tell any artist: 'Do not play for them'".
