Manic Street Preachers UK Tour & New Album
Band to play huge UK tour this winter
The Manic Street Preachers have announced an extensive UK tour in support of their brand new studio album.
The band’s tenth studio album, Postcards From A Young Man, is released in September ahead of the band’s 23 date UK tour.
The album is the follow up to last year’s superb Journal For Plague Lovers, which featured lyrics written by former band member Richey Edwards before he disappeared in 1995. However, the new Manics album is due to be an altogether less bleak affair.
"We're going for big radio hits on this one," he told NME. "It isn't a follow-up to 'Journal For Plague Lovers'. It's one last shot at mass communication."
The tour kicks off in Glasgow on 29 September.
