Maiden Wrap Up Recording
New album sessions completed in the Bahamas
Iron Maiden have completed the recording of their forthcoming new album.
In his blog, producer Kevin Shirley revealed that the Maiden members had each finished recording their parts for the forthcoming album in Nassau, Bahamas, and that now it was simply time to get the record into shape.
His post simply says:
"Last day in the studio today and all the music recording is done! There's still work to do, but the band portion is complete and in the can, so to speak.”
Shirley has produced the band’s last two albums along with bassist Steve Harris, 2000’s Brave New World and 2006’s A Matter Of Life And Death.
The new album has no release date, but it’s hoped that it will be with us before the band headline this year’s Sonisphere Festival in Knebworth at the end of July (CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS)
