Maiden Coming Back To Europe
Metal icons to play Scandinavian shows next July
Iron Maiden have announced a handful of European shows for 2011, giving fans hope that they will be back in the UK at some point in the next 12 months.
The band have not played multiple dates in the UK as part of a world tour since 2006, and fans are hopeful that next year’s second Final Frontier World Tour leg will see the band play more shows in their home country.
The band have been confirmed as headliners of 2011’s Roskilde in Denmark and have announced three other Scandinavian shows in Sweden, Norway and Finland.
More news on any tour announcements as and when we get them. Here’s the band’s 2011 European dates so far:
Friday July 1st - Gothenburg Ullevi Stadium, Sweden
Wednesday July 6th - Oslo Telenor, Norway
Friday July 8th - Helsinki Olympic Stadium, Finland
June 30 - July 3 -Roskilde Festival, Denmark
