The band have announced via their website that they are working on a new album that will consist of re-recordings of some of their favourite songs from the past decade along with two new songs for an album entitled Evolution.

The album is due later this year and it will be the follow up to this year's The Visitation LP.

The band have also announced the reissue of their albums Broken Morning and Princess Alice And The Broken Arrow on blue and yellow (respectively) heavyweight vinyl.

And to make it a hat-trick of Magnum news today, the band are currently warning fans from buying an unofficial live album that has just been released.

A statement on their website says:

"Magnum would like to make it clear that the album released under Southworld Records "MAGNUM LIVE ON AIR" has no connection with the band in any way. This is a bad bootleg copy of the worst quality and should not be on sale. We urge all our fans not to purchase this album as it will be a waste of your money. The band wish it to be known this has been released with out sanction of the band or other labels knowledge.

"It is a copyright infringement and will be looked into as soon as possible.

"We are once again very sorry if you have bought this album already. We would advise you to send it back and request a refund. We are very proud of the albums we have put out and try to keep the quality very high of future releases."
