Macca Lines Up Intimate Christmas Shows
Sir Paul is going home this Christmas for small UK show
Sir Paul McCartney is to play a couple of small(ish) UK shows to celebrate Christmas.
The former Beatle will play a show at the Hammersmith Apollo on 18 December – a venue which he first played in 1964 – and then he will play at the Liverpool O2 Academy on 20 December.
"I always love playing to a home audience and for me it's the perfect way to end the year,” Sir Paul said. "We've had great fun with the stadium shows this year and we're looking forward to the more intimate vibe of these ones.
"Christmas is the perfect excuse for everyone to let their hair down and rock out. We are looking forward to celebrating with the good people of London and Liverpool.”
Tickets for the shows are on sale tomorrow at 9am.
