Lou Reed is bringing his Metal Machine Trio to the UK for a one-off date.
Reed is bringing his hugely experimental musical trio to the UK for a show at the O2 Academy Oxford on 18 April.
The Metal Machine Trio will see Reed improvising on processed and unprocessed guitars in a bid to recreate the avant garde ethos of the Metal Machine Music album that was released nearly 25 years ago. It’s safe to say that you probably won’t hear ‘Walk On The Wild Side’ at this show.
Tickets for the gig are on pre-sale now from Live Nation and on general sale tomorrow morning from 9am.
