Lou Gramm To Release Autobiography
"Juke Box Hero: My Five Decades In Rock 'N' Roll"
The original frotnman of Foreigner will release his memoirs on May 1. The story charts his rise from working-class boy in New York to the man who possessed one of rock's most distinctive voices.
Gramm honestly recounts his seduction into fame and fortune, and his numerous battles with drugs and alcohol. He addresses his relationship with founding member of Foreigner Mick Jones, which saw them penning chart-topping songs together before personal tensions caused Gramm to twice walk away from the band, the second time permanently.
However, Gramm's biggest challenge to date has been his battle with cancer; given the death sentence by several doctors he was forced to undertake then-revolutionary laser surgery.
