Levon Helms Band To Release Final Recordings
The third installment of the Midnight Ramble Sessions is due in November
One of the late Levon Helms' final projects is to be released in the US on 20 November.
Midnight Ramble Sessions Vol.3 features performances recorded at Helms'Â barn in Woodstock, New York, where the former singer-drummer of the Band held regular musical gatherings entitled the Midnight Ramble.
"He wanted to build an environment where music was holding its rightful place," Helm's daughter, Amy, tells Rolling Stone. "If he'd had his way, he would have had the Ramble every night. He always said that."
