Led Zeppelin Reunion DVD ON The Way?

Will we finally see the O2 show on DVD?

It’s three years since the Led Zeppelin reunion at the O2 Arena, and the much rumoured live DVD looks like it may finally see the light of day.

The O2 show was filmed for a potential DVD but for various reasons it was never released. However, there has now been some movement , according to Jason Bonham.

Hennemusic quotes an interview which Jason recorded with KLOS in which he reveals that Robert Plant has finally seen the film and has given it the thumbs up.

"Nothing is official, as yet,” said Jason. "I only know that because Robert (Plant) had said that he’d watched it. I really do hope that it eventually will see the light of day. It’s just nice to know that Robert had seen it, so I knew something, but it was nice that he rang up and said ‘Wow, it sounded great.’ Fingers crossed, everybody... fingers crossed.”

We won’t hold our breath for his one, based on the length of time it took for 2003’s Led Zeppelin DVD to be put together and released (15 years from conception to release). But it would be nice for the millions of us NOT at the O2 to be able to finally see the gig.
