Eponymous band lynchpin Kris Barras plays four characters in the light-hearted video – a debauched wannabe rock star with atrocious teeth, a stunningly attractive woman sporting fetching red lipstick, a nerdy hotel receptionist, and a cliched boxing promoter, in full brown overcoat.

Kris Barras comments: "This was the very first song that I wrote for the ‘Light It Up’ album and it has always been one of my faves.

“I wanted to have a bit of fun with the video. The original plan was to have a good mate of mine play the main character. He would’ve been perfect as he has an amazing mullet! However, he had an accident and broke his collar bone a few days before we were due to start filming. So, I made a quick pit stop at a fancy dress shop and we went to work!

“It was great fun to do something that we hadn’t done before with our videos. We had a lot of fun making it!"

Rivalling Blue Öyster Cult’s ‘(Don’t Fear) The Reaper’ in terms of its highly generous cowbell usage, ‘What A Way To Go’ is lifted from Kris Barras Band’s latest album ‘Light It Up’, which was released in September 2019.

Last August's equally light-hearted 'What You Get' video featured a memorable cameo from Planet Rock's very own Paul Anthony.

Kris Barras Band are touring Europe throughout March and they play Steelhouse Festival in in South Wales at the end July.

On Saturday 21st October, Kris Barras Band support Thunder at London’s The SSE Arena, Wembley.

Thunder personally cherry-picked five different artists to support them on the arena tour with Those Damn Crows, Piston, Mason Hill and Massive Wagons opening on Cardiff, Birmingham, Glasgow and Leeds respectively.
