Kris Barras Band confirmed as special guest on Joanne Shaw Taylor's October tour
The brilliant Kris Barras Band has been unveiled as the very special guest on Joanne Shaw Taylor’s upcoming Planet Rock presents tour.
The blues rocker, who is currently enjoying heavy rotation on our airwaves with ‘Lovers or Losers’, will join Joanne at all 10 dates on her October tour.

Kris’s latest studio album 'The Divine and Dirty' album was released in March 2018 and went in straight at number one in both the Amazon and iTunes Blues charts as well as Number 3 in the Official UK Blues/Jazz Charts.
He recently supported Beth Hart on her sizable spring 2018 tour and plays his own headline show at The Borderline on Wednesday 20th June preceding his appearance at Ramblin’ Man Fair on Sunday 1st July.
Following this, the former cage fighter will be fronting rock supergroup the Supersonic Blues Machine with special guest Billy F Gibbons on Wednesday 4th July at London O2 Shepherds Bush Empire.
Joanne Shaw Taylor will be showcasing material from her upcoming sixth studio album on the October tour having recently signed her first major label contract with the relaunched Silvertone label.
“Over my career, I have worked with different labels but when I got the chance to release the next albums through Sony and Silvertone in particular, I couldn’t say no,” says Joanne.
“To be part of such an iconic label that has released albums by some of my guitar heroes like Buddy Guy, John Mayall and even The Stone Roses is such an honour. I will be starting work on the new album over the summer and can’t wait to get into the studio and release the album in 2019!”
