Kiss To Start Album Number 20
Band to hit the studio in March
KISS have revealed that they will be hitting the studio in March to start work on their 20th studio album.
In 2009 the band released Sonic Boom, their first album in over a decade but they won't be waiting anywhere near that amount of time to get back into the studio, according to their guitarist.
In an interview with Backstageaxxess.com Tommy Thayer revealed "We'll probably be in the studio by March, so sometime this year I'm sure you'll see a spanking new Kiss album that's going to kick some butt!"
"We are starting to work on writing some songs, and we'll approach it just like we did with 'Sonic Boom'," Thayer said of the new album. "Keep it all in the band in terms of the writing, with no agenda besides writing great rock'n'roll songs that we love."
Thayer also said that the new album would once again be produced by the band's frontman Paul Stanley. "Paul knows more what a Kiss record should sound like than anybody," he said, "so he is going to lead the charge and produce it again."
