Kiss' Destroyer Gets Anniversary Release
The album has been expanded for its 35th birthday
Hennemusic reports that the album will be released on 27 February and that the 1976 album has been expanded to a double disc set which will feature remixes of the original LP by producer Bob Ezrin, outtakes from the original sessions, and include the record’s original cover art.
The infamous cover was painted by Ken Kelly; his original version of the album cover was rejected by the record company because they felt the scene was too violent looking with the rubble and flames. In addition, the original version had the band members wearing their "Alive!"-era costumes, which were updated for the album and tour.
