KISS Cadillac Story To Become A Movie
The story of the band's 1975 visit to the the town to be fictionalised
The story of how Kiss both inspired an American football team to an unprecedented run of results and then visited the town to celebrate with the locals is fairly well known amongst the band's fans, but now the story is set to reach a wider audience after it was revealed that a movie was to be made about the event.
In 1974, the Cadillac High School Vikings, playing KISS albums in the locker room before and after games, won seven straight games and wound up conference co-champs. Word spread to KISS, who visited Cadillac the next year for a particularly raucous Homecoming weekend.
The story has now inspired a film entitled "Cadillac High", which is due to start filming later this year in Michigan after filmmakers had their $27m budget approved.
