Kings Of Leon Kick Off New Album Sessions
Follow up to 2008\'s Only By The Night is on the way
The Kings Of Leon are in the studio and working on the follow up to 2008’s Only By The Night.
Drummer Nathan Followhill revealed via his Twitter page that the band had entered the studio and were working on new material.
On Monday Followhill revealed that he was "beaming with excitement and a hangover at the same time", before declaring the opening day was "a musical success".
And yesterday he drummer revealed that the band had "put down some jams that I think you all will like".
Kings Of Leon famously wrote and recorded their last studio album so that they would have new material to play when they headlined Glastonbury 2008, and with the band due to play a huge show at London’s Hyde Park in June it is entirely possible that fans could be treated to new songs ahead of the album’s release later in the year.
All 50,000 tickets for the Hyde Park show sold out in a matter of hours when they went on sale a few weeks ago.
