King King have announced details of a three-disc live album, the aptly titled ‘King King Live’.

The Scottish blues-rockers will release their first ever live album on Friday 21st October via Manhaton Records.

A deluxe three-disc set, the two CDs contain material recorded at King King’s triumphant homecoming gig at Glasgow O2 ABC back in May. An additional DVD captures the band performing live at Holmfirth Picturedome in April.

King King vocalist and guitarist Alan Nimmo said: "We are excited about 'King King Live' because it's the first time we've ever released a live album. It's a great testament to how our audiences drive us on to perform to the best of our abilities. The audience reaction to the live performances is amazing. This release couldn't have been possible without them."

The album is available to pre-order on Amazon right now.

‘King King Live’ will serve as a tantalising aperitif ahead of the band’s Planet Rock Presents tour with Broken Witt Rebels this November.

Tickets are on sale from Planet Rock Tickets now.
