Canadian rock n’ rollers The Damn Truth have been unveiled as the special guests on King King’s February 2022 UK tour.
The Damn Truth will open proceedings at all nine dates on the trek, which opens at York Opera House on 10th February and calls in at Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield, Cardiff, Birmingham and Bury St Edmunds before concluding with a huge show at the 1,500 capacity London Electric Ballroom on Thursday 24th February 2022.
“We’re looking forward to touring the UK with King King,” says lead singer and guitarist, Lee-la Baum. “We can’t wait to perform tracks from our new album ‘Now or Nowhere’ for British audiences.”
Tickets to all shows are on sale from Planet Rock Tickets now.
Boasting the Planet Rock A-listed single ‘This Is Who We Are Now’, The Damn Truth’s new studio album ‘Now or Nowhere’ is released on Friday 7th May via Spectra Musique/Sony Music.
The Damn Truth recorded two-thirds of ‘Now of Nowhere’ with revered Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Aerosmith and Bon Jovi producer Bob Rock at Bryan Adams’ recording studio “The Warehouse” in Vancouver.
Unable to finish the record with Bob Rock due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic last year, The Damn Truth laid down the final three tracks with award winning producer Jean Massicotte.
Ahead of the February 2022 tour, King King play eight concerts in October 2021 with support from blues rock duo When Rivers Meet.
