King King have been forced to reschedule the majority of their November 2016 tour due to a vocal cord condition Alan Nimmo has been afflicted with.

The Scottish blues rockers were due to kick off their Planet Rock presents tour with Broken Witt Rebels in Brighton next week but have now pushed back the opening eight shows to January, February, March and May 2017.

Singer and guitarist Alan Nimmo explains: “I’ve seen my ENT specialist and he put a camera down my throat to look at what condition my vocal cords were in.

“Unfortunately, there was still a good bit of inflammation and redness. I’ve been working with a vocal coach and to build strength and stamina to aid my recovery.”

The final four November 2016 dates in Edinburgh, Chester, Clitheroe and London will still be honoured with Alan expecting to have fully recovered by then.

All tickets for the original dates will remain valid at the rescheduled shows. You can also buy tickets from Planet Rock Tickets now.
