Keith Richards Recording Solo Material?
Reports suggest that the Stones guitarist is in the studio
New York music site SonicScoop.com reports that Richards has been working at Manhattan's Germano Studios with producer Steve Jordan and engineer Dave O'Donnell. Jordan previously worked with Richards on the X-Pensive Winos material.
No word from the Richards camp on whether this is true or not, but if there is any truth in it then it will be his first full studio album since 1992's Main Offender.
Richards' fellow Stones bandmate Mick Jagger was also in the US recording earlier this year, but that was for a Dave Stewart solo project.
