Keith Richards joke about immortality: 'I’ll write all your epitaphs!'
Health expert defying Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has taken to social media to poke fun at his apparent immortality.
The 72-year-old rocker took over BBC Four over the weekend for three days of 'Keith Richards' Lost Weekend’ and last night (25th September) used to the opportunity to open up about death with his 700,000 Twitter followers.
Despite dubious internet sites predicting his impending death for the past decade, Keith says he was upset to learn they’ve now given up on him shuffling off his mortal coil.
Keith joked: “I was number one on the who-is-most-likely-to-die list for 10 years. I was really disappointed when I fell of the list!”
“Some doctor told me I had six months to live and I went to his funeral. I’ll write all your epitaphs!”
He added later: “Getting old is a fascinating thing. The older you get, the older you want to get!”
