Journey Drummer Arrested

According to TMZ.com (via Blabbermouth), Journey drummer Deen Castronovo was arrested on Saturday in Oregon for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. Castronovo was booked into Polk County Jail on a number of charges, including coercion, assault, criminal mischief , interfering with making a report and harassment. 

Sources tell TMZ.com that some of the charges stem from an altercation that occurred after the alleged physical blowout when Castronovo 's girlfriend ran out of the house to call her father and the musician allegedly grabbed the phone out of her hand and refused to let her contact her dad.

A representative for Castronovo tells TMZ.com that the incident "was a misunderstanding that should not have been escalated to such a level in the first place."

Castronovo was released after posting $52,500.00 bail.
