Jon Anderson Refutes Yes Reunion Story
He says he hasn't spoken to Chris Squire in four years
After Yes' current frontman Benoit David was forced to pull out of the band's forthcoming tour due to illness there were rumours that Jon Anderson may rejoin the band for a run of shows.
Chris Squire also recently suggested that he and Anderson had been in regular contact, sating "We email each other. We have a cordial relationship."
However, a press release from Jon refutes both stories, saying that the reunion story was "unfounded and false. Jon Anderson is busy with his solo career; he is currently on tour performing solo, as well as recording new music."
He added "I haven't spoken with Chris in four years, and the only e-mail I have received from him in the last 3 years was him asking for free tickets to my show in Mesa, AZ last week - very sad, but true."
