John Waite Goes Back To Basics On New Record
New album is released next week
Former Bad English man John Waite is going back to basics for his brand new album, Rough And Tumble, which is released next week.
The album is his follow up to last year’s In Real Time live album, which inspired him to make a more basic, raw album than he had produced for years.
In fact several songs from the album date back some time - "Mr. Wonderful" is a remake from Waite's 1982 solo debut "Ignition," "Skyward" was written in 2004 and Waite penned "Evil" in June of 2009
In an interview with Billboard last month Waite revealed that he had originally intended to release a handful of songs as an EP but his record label persuaded him that he had enough material for an album.
Expect a tour in Europe in support of the album in the Spring.
