John Cale Previews New Album With EP
New five song release due in September ahead of 15th solo album next year
Undercover News reports that the former Velvet Underground member will release new EP, Extra Playful, on 16 September.
The EP will contain five new tracks which Cale says will "leap from pop's edge with glee, freewheeling through springy beats, snaking, shonky guitar lines and zones of exciting texture."
The EP will be preceded by single 'Whaddaya Mean By That' early in September.
Cale will release a brand new album, his first since 2005, early next year. It will be his fifteenth solo studio effort.
