Prestigious producer Kevin ‘The Caveman’ Shirley has so much faith in the magnificence of Joanne Shaw Taylor’s new album ‘Wild’ he has vowed to give music fans a refund if they’re not “blown away” by it.

Planet Rock favourite Joanne has spent much of 2016 finishing the record at Grand Victor Sound Studios in Nashville, Tennessee with Shirley ahead of its release on 30th September.

And Shirley, who counts Joe Bonamassa, Aerosmith, Dream Theater, Black Country Communion and Journey among his smorgasbord of production credits, is truly overawed by her talents.

Sharing a promotional video for the album, Shirley enthused: "Ladies and gents, here is your next Blues superstar... Joanne Shaw Taylor! We finished her new album in Nashville, and it's BRILLIANT!

“Really!! Killer singer, awesome guitarist.

“She's going it alone, as an independent, and if you're not blown away, I'll give you your money back!”

Speaking about working on the album, Joanne said: “Recording at Grand Victor was incredibly inspiring. It is quite the legendary studio. Dolly Parton cut Jolene and I Will Always Love you here. And Chet Atkins worked here.

“Basically, if there was a hit record out of Nashville, it was made here. I am very proud of this album, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”

To support the release of the record, Joanne is heading out on a Planet Rock presented ‘Wild’ UK headline tour in October and November.
